Where to Buy Map Filters

The Connected "Where to Buy" maps lack meaningful capabilities for the user. Currently the maps show all locations near the user's IP address and the user has to click each location to see what products they carry and services they offer. The reality is that users are coming to the map looking for a specific product or service.
To support the common use case "where can I buy XYZ" the user needs to be able to filter map search by the item or items they are looking for.
Users also want to know who ships or delivers to them.
SHIPPING - To support a filter for "who ships XYZ and/or ZYX to a given location" on the map, we would need to require the user to enter their location. Alternatively, we filter to OR provide a list of states to which the retailers ships that product on the pop-up.
Another non-map alternative might be a "show all" option and ability to filter by fulfillment method on the PDP page.
DELIVERY - To support the other common use case "who ships XYZ" to a given location, user needs to be able to view delivery zone for a given product. Without requiring the users address on the map, this could be resolved elegantly by showing delivery area for that retailer when selected (highlighting delivery area on the map as designated by merchant settings)
