Roi Kliper: Not sure what you guys have planned but Ulta's app has a great simple UI for this. The filter button is a circle like your messaging button on web, but this is on the app. It shows up when you search something (bottom right). When clicked, it goes to a menu in the app that has dropdowns with checkboxes for filtering. Check it out :)
